Our next chance of snow looks to come Sunday night into Monday. Varying models solutions are keeping confidence low at this point as some models are bringing in a strong cold front Sunday evening (and with that a good chance for widespread snow) while others are keeping the cold front east of the forecast area. Will hold off on any bold predictions at this point and wait to see how things come together over the next few days.

Happy for a warm weekend!
The models ARE crazy right now for the center of the US. Hard to tell what might happen.
Brendan,
With all due respect, how would the cold front stay east of the area? It will be coming from the west-northwest...
That said, I see a 2-5" snow potential from late Sunday into early Monday, though odds are on the lower end of that range.

I would argue that it is not uncommon at all for cold fronts to stay east of the area, even if coming from the northwest. They will often track across Montana and Wyoming, but not dive south until after Denver... clipping the northeast corner of the state. That said, I pulled that from the NWS forecast discussion this morning. It's in the fourth paragraph down.
I would have to concur that the potential is there for some light accumulation... but remain skeptical myself. We'll see!
